When was the last time you sat down and thought about the freedoms that you, as a United States citizen possess?
When was the last time you really pondered how we arrived at this point?
Often in our hectic day-to-day schedules we forget to truly stop and remember those who came before and all the things they did for us.
Monday May 28th is Memorial Day and while most of us will be spending the day barbecuing and enjoying time with family and friends I would just like to remind everyone to take a few minutes on the 28th to think of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in our military.
As you know, Memorial Day is different than Veterans Day it honors those who died while in service to our country. Veterans Day honors all who served including those still living.
As a twenty year Army Retired Veteran of Operation Desert Storm (ODS), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) I would like to take this time, on behalf of PowerFilm, to honor all our comrades-in-arms who died protecting this great nation and their families whose sacrifice cannot be overstated.
PowerFilm is proud to be a teammate of the US Military and its allies and we look forward to the continuing opportunity to serve our men and women of the Armed Forces.
This Memorial Day we encourage you to stop, think about and remember those who came before and died to secure the freedoms we now enjoy.
